How You Can Get Involved with the CTC-CK
The Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent has been providing programs and specialized services to the families of Chatham-Kent for 65 years. To do this effectively, we have relied heavily on the commitment from our caring volunteers in the Chatham-Kent community.
Over the years, we have had volunteers participate in daily administration work, evening and weekend programs, and special events. Volunteers also assist with a variety of summer camps, therapy groups on land and in the pool.
We recruit qualified and caring volunteers from our community, consisting of grandparents, students and parents – people from all walks of life. We offer our volunteers orientation, training, opportunities to gain new skills and education. In return, volunteers gain the satisfaction of helping our clients and staff, the opportunity to meet new people and make lifelong friends. Our volunteers are priceless!
