AUDIOLOGIST
The Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham Kent is seeking an Audiologist. This is a fulltime (35 hours) permanent position. This position will provide audiology services, including prescription of hearing aids to clients who meet the assessment and admission criteria of the Centre and the Infant Hearing Program for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex. All necessary training will be provided. The primary location will be The Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent with outreach to Windsor Regional Hospital.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited university program
- Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Pathologists of Ontario
- Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position
- Criminal Reference Check for the vulnerable sector
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.

As a Speech Language Pathologist at the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent, you will be providing individual and group therapy, caregiver coaching, assessment, education, consultation and early intervention strategies for children 0-6 who have speech and language concerns. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
The Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent is seeking a full-time, permanent, (35 hours a week) Occupational Therapist.
This position will provide services within the School Based Rehabilitation Services Program and Client Funded Services Program
The Occupational Therapist will:
- Provide services for children and youth from birth to 18 years of age, or 21 years if still in school.
- Use a strength-based, solution-focused, family centred, and functional model of service, to assess, identify goals, develop a careplan, and provide intervention.
- Provide interventions that include consultation, coaching, Partnering for Change P4C, (universal tiered service model), monitoring, group intervention, home programs and individual direct services (in person or virtual).
- Collaborate with other service providers, agencies, and educators.
- Complete documentation as required by the CTC-CK and regulated health college.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Registration and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists (COTO)
Assets:
- Experience working with families, children, and youth with multiple, complex, and diverse abilities.
- Experience using Solution Focused Coaching, and Tiered Service Delivery model (Partnering for Change/ P4C)
- Committed to evidenced based practice in alignment with EKO clinical best practices and standards including a holistic, strength based and functional model of service delivery that is culturally safe and trauma informed.
