Friday, September 16th, the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation hosted their first-ever Festival of Golf golf tournament! The Vegas-themed event, which was held at Willow Ridge Golf & Country Club, brought in 144 golfers and 60 volunteers for a day of Vegas-style games, drinks, incredible dinner and dessert buffet, Face 4 Radio after party, and of course, golf.
Throughout the course, golfers enjoyed 18 holes of craft beer and whisky vendors, archery, black jack, poker, plinko, crowns and anchors, sangria, ribs, margarita and cigar stations. Following golf, the golfers were invited inside for a fabulous Vegas-style dinner and dessert buffet, and the draw for the brand new 2016 Ford Mustang, as well as 13 additional trip raffles.
Team Lundy Insurance won best score, and were awarded the green, embroidered Festival of Golf jackets and trophy. Following the dinner, Face 4 Radio took the stage out on the green, and an additional 130 guests joined the golfers for the after party.
The Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation staff and event organizers are extremely thrilled that their first-ever Festival of Golf was such a success, by raising $53,000 and providing a entertainment-packed day for the golfers and volunteers.
